I was delighted to meet some new friends as well as catch up with friends from as far back as primary school. There were people who\u2019d come from Darwin, Melbourne and Sydney as well as redoubtable Queenslanders who\u2019d travelled from near and far.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to my brother-in-law Jim Hinsch for helping me scout the suburbs of Brisbane to find this little gem. Sadly, Macho Macho has since permanently closed due to the pandemic, so we\u2019ll need to find a new venue for future Brisbane events.
